EPHA Inc. was founded upon the simple idea of preventing hose wear and abrasion while serving customers to the highest of standards. We have taken what personal knowledge we have acquired over a lifetime of experience as a consumer and put it to use in our marketing and company policies.

Our companies first step towards it's present success occurred when the EPHA Hose Protector was introduced in to the market. The convenient reinforcing pads were made of abrasive resistant material that could easily be attached to almost any size hose where abrasion was suspected or anticipated. The orange 6 and 8 inch pads were secured at the point of contact by three small cable ties set in recessed grooves. The grooves prevented wear on the cable tie, adding to the simplicity and effectiveness of the product. Since the original Hose Protector debuted in 1986, with the founding of EPHA Inc., many improvements to it's durability and appearance have been made. Like all new EPHA products, the Hose Protector has been made to resist oils, solvents, fuels, greases, sunlight, and temperatures ranging from -40 to 430 degrees Fahrenheit. Two additional choices of color and another size have been added since the original EPHA Hose Protector, bringing the complete line to cover black, orange, and yellow available in 4, 6, and 8 inch sizes.

Many of our clients had a small need for the Hose Protector, but a much greater need for a tool to help solve their routing and wiring problems. With a growing demand, EPHA Inc. designed two separate products: the Hose Spacer and the Hose Loom. Both are widely used in the same applications, but are very different when compared to each other. The Hose Spacer is used when there are only two hoses to separate from each other at points of abrasion and contact, where the Hose Loom is used to separate up to four hose assemblies with or without mounting tabs. Both the Hose Spacer and the Hose Loom are made of injection molded plastics and are available in 5/8, 3/4, 1, 1-1/8, and 1-3/8 inch sizes. Mini Looms have also been recently added to our product line. They are made of the same durable plastics and are frequently used for smaller pneumatic lines or wiring applications. They are available in 1/2, 3/8, 5/16, an 1/4 inch sizes.
